STI-tuned Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon, Legacy B4 sedan released in Japan

Subaru has announced the introduction of an STI-tuned Legacy in Japan. It is offered in two body styles such as sedan and touring (wagon). Only 300 units of wagon and sedan models will be produced and offered to the public in Japan only. These cars has been extensively modified by Subaru’s in-house tuning specialist Subaru Tecnica International, offering purchasers with a special vehicle with genuine performance benefits.

In terms of pricing; the sedan and wagon come with a price tag of 4,029,900 Yen and 4,187,400 Yen respectively. Continue Reading ›

The All New 2012 Nissan Almera Officially Launched in Malaysia

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has officially launched new Nissan Almera in Malaysia. There are four variants for buyers to choose from. The locally-assembled Nissan Almera B-segment sedan is priced at RM 66,800 for the 1.5 E manual, RM 69,800 for the 1.5 E, RM 76,800 for the 1.5 V and RM 79,800 for the 1.5 VL. In addition, you can also go for the IMPUL accessories package for an additional RM 9,500.

Honda Reveals 9th Generation Accord

Once upon a time car makers thought horsepower and nothing else sold cars. This proved to be a distracting exercise; cars began to sprout headline grabbing power figures but so did kerb weight. People wanted tyre smoke, but they also wanted bigger wheels, plusher seats, sat-nav, 16 speakers and safety whatnots. Then the holy eco brigade made a stir and slapped engine designers silly with data of CO2 emissions printed on recycled paper. The result: downsizing. Fortunately engineers are problem solvers, and while BMW may not have been the first to adopt the small engine trend, there was no doubt that they would be adept at it.
