Another Mazda came to town! This time around, it’s the SUV – CX-5. While Mazda also sold the previous generation CX-5 in Malaysia, we can barely see one on our road. However, this CX-5 is set to change the scene, with already more than 600 bookings right after tha launching. There will be 2 variants for the CX-5, a 2WD and a AWD, where the former is priced at RM155k while the latter is priced at RM165k (OTR without insurance). The CX-5 gained Mazda’s newest KODO design language and front fascia, looking sexy but I’m not a fan of the overly large grille. The rear design although looks simple, but at least the lines are clean and sharp. There are [...]

Seatbelt is one of the earliest inventions of car safety features. Since then, a lot of safety features such as airbags and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) has been developed to provide further protection and prevention against accident. However, seatbelt is considered as the prime safety feature, where we’ll suffer injury even if we have a dozen of airbags in the car but doesn’t buckle up our seatbelt. This is because seatbelt is designed to secure us in the seat and prevent us from hitting any part of the car’s cabin. There are two kinds of seatbelt – 2-point seatbelt and 3-point seatbelt. A 2-point seatbelt only consist of a lap belt while a 3-point seatbelt (Figure 1) consist of a [...]

The centre console unit though commodious could do better with a lid to hide stuff from prying eyes. For longer items, the back seats spit 60/40 to a 454litre boot free from suspension intrusion. Safety aspects are taken care of by a total of 4 airbags for front occupants on top of the usual 4 3-point and single-lap seat belts. Other active items include ABS coupled with EB and interestingly anti-pinch windows for not just the driver, but also on all of the remaining 3. [...]

Life’s quality is expected improve further on so you target something different to impress your peers and neighbors without breaking the bank. If you really are in such a situation then have a look at Volkswagen’s new Polo Sedan. In a glance the Polo Sedan is very much like its hatchback sibling apart from the additional third box. To be true, the panels for it are completely new due to the slightly stretched PQ25 platform. This explains VW’s success in overcoming the often overlooked hatchback-saloon conversion issue around its C-pillars. Side on, the [...]

Because being presented with nice photos, and convincing description, potential buyers tend to fall into the trap of the seller. Also with the pleasant conversation with the seller, potential buyers will have more confident in purchasing that specific products.
