Exploring the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid

A few years ago, the idea of a hybrid Porsche would have been unthinkable! But today, we have exactly that with the launch of the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid. But do not expect this vehicle to be like any other hybrid out there, as it is still a Porsche. Unlike other hybrid vehicles that carry economical internal combustion engines, the Panamera S Hybrid carries a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine that can churn out up to 329bhp of power. Not your usual hybrid, is it now?

The Hyundai Elantra Coupe Unveiled

The upcoming Hyundai Elantra is definitely a looker, but here is a vehicle that looks even better than the sedan Elantra. I am talking about the coupe version of the Hyundai Elantra, one that comes in a stylish two-door variant that looks even sleeker than its sedan counterpart. With sharper design lines and more refined aerodynamics features compared to its sedan counterpart, the Elantra Coupe looks every bit the winner that Hyundai expects it to be. Unveiled at the recent 2012 Chicago Auto Show, the Elantra Coupe was designed at the brand’s North American Design Centre in California (Irvine to be exact), and the Fluidic Sculpture design language is clearly evident on this set of wheels.

Before the debut of the long awaited SLS AMG Gullwing, Mercedes Benz had pull the legs of many automobile enthusiasts by giving out bits and pieces of information about this new creation of theirs, somewhat like an exotic dancer detaching bits and pieces of her clothing. Arousing the automobile enthusiasts’ attention, the best look on the vehicle is the spy shots taken. Such had given many the idea of what kind of beauty everyone had been anticipating.

DRIVEN: Volkswagen Passat CC !!! (Part 2)

I started my journey with the Passat CC by sitting in the back seat while a blogger friend of mine, Dustyhawk in the driver seat. Some might expect the headroom at the back to be skimpy but it’s not! I’m a relatively tall person and can fit comfortably at the back seats without my hair touching the roof, unless I am there with a spiky hairstyle!

I would beg to differ if you say the Passat CC has a stiff ride because it’s a coupe. The Passat CC comes with Adaptive Chassis Control which enable you to choose between ‘Comfort’ mode and ‘Sport’ mode. The ride at the back was still comfortable despite the car is in ‘Sport’ mode while Dustyhawk was stepping the pedal to the metal and speeding over speedbumps. The ride got slightly softer by changing the Passat CC back to ‘Comfort’ mode. The car remains composed even though Dustyhawk was making a turn in a roundabout at a relatively high speed, no tires spin was heard too!

Very Looooong Hummer !!!

Holy cow!!! It’s a long Hummer isn’t it? It is spotted by me where it parked in front of Malaysia’s first sports car themed restaurant – V1 Concept Bar and Restaurant in Bandar Puteri, Puchong! The place is famous for exotic car owners at night and it is not something extraordinary if you get to see cars like Lamborghini and car clubs park outside of the restaurant at night.

You thought the Hummer above is the longest Hummer that you had ever seen? Think again!!!

I’m a man with class. I would love to look cool when I arrive at the jockey area of a renowed hotel. I’m also a man who appreciate some sportiness. I would love to look cool in front of my friends too. There are not many cars out there which can satisfy my criteria, which can be describe as a 4-door coupe. Mercedes CLS & Jaguar XF? Pricey. BMW X6? Bulky and pricey for me too! Volkswagen Passat CC? You betcha!

A tragedy struck the racing world fifty years ago, when a tire of the Ferrari 335S sports car that was driven by a Spanish nobleman Marquis Alfonso de Partago were blown, near the Mantova in northern Italy on the last lap of the tedious Mille Miglia race, where drivers race from Brescia to Rome and back again. In this accident, De Portago, his co-driver Ed Nelsons and 11 audiences’ life was taken away from them; hence, ending the life span of the race that was running since 1927.
