Driving License Renewal to Cost RM2 for Disabled Drivers

In just two weeks’ time (March 15), disabled drivers will need only pay RM2 to renew their licenses, as opposed to the full RM30/year rate (RM20/year for motorcycles).

The move affects disabled drivers, and riders with ‘L’ licenses, as well as full-fledged CDLs (Competent Driving Licenses) in an attempt to reduce living costs for the disabled.

Further reducing living costs for the disabled, Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha announced that driving test fees that used to cost RM10 have now been completely waived.
