MINI Malaysia Emerges with Two New Limited Edition Vehicles

If you are looking to purchase a new MINI Cooper, you are definitely in luck, especially if you are one that appreciates limited edition vehicles. MINI Malaysia has recently decided to launch two new limited edition vehicles here in our country under the Cooper banner, namely the MINI Cooper Baker Street and the MINI Cooper S Bayswater. If you are familiar with the MINI Cooper range, you would know that the former is a special edition version of the normal Cooper while the latter is a limited version of the Cooper S.

In terms of design and looks, both vehicles differ greatly from one another, though it must be noted here that the cars do not change in terms of engine, drivetrain, output levels or performance. Which isn’t much of a complaint if you asked me as both the Cooper and Cooper S and excellent vehicles in terms of performance.

The MINI Cooper Baker Street comes in colors such as Rooftop Grey Metallic, Rooftop Grey (non-metallic), Midnight Black and Pepper White. All of them come with standard black roofing, while you also get additional items such as Baker Street labels on locations such as mirror caps, front wings and bonnet. The 16-inch aluminum 6-star Twin Spoke wheels appear in Nightfever Black color that makes the car even more appealing. Baker Street designs are also found within the cabin area, spot them at locations such as gear knob lever, cloth seats and leather trims.

The MINI Cooper S Bayswater on the other hand comes in the unique Kite Blue Metallic exterior shade, though you can also choose other colors such as Midnight Black Metallic or Exlipse Grey Metallic. You can see the Bayswater nametag on the front wing of the vehicle, while the stylish 17-inch Sanblast Turned light alloy wheels come in Jet Black to give you that exclusive feel. Moving on to the cabin area, Punch Rocklike Anthracite leather trims with Blue/ Brown stitching is offered, while the interior is pretty much in Piano Black too to ensure a match with the special bonnet strips. The model’s name is etched on the seats and doorsills, just like the Baker Street Edition.

Now for the interesting part. The MINI Cooper Baker Street is priced at RM198,888 while the MINI Cooper S Bayswater carries a price tag of RM248,88, both OTR without insurance but with MINI’s Tender Loving Care Service Package.
