Euromobil has officially launched the Audi Q3 in Malaysia. The Q3 is priced at RM258,000 OTR without insurance. The S line version of the same vehicle available at RM279,000, that is an additional of RM21,000 . The S line package comprises a three-spoke steering wheel, Alcantara seats, S line door sills, chrome fog lamp surrounds, chrome grille, and 18-inch alloys with a special design. Other options comprise a panoramic roof that cost RM6,000, comfort key that cost RM2,500 and pearl effect colour cost another RM3,500.
Engine and specification:
Audi Q3 is powered by 2.0 litre TFSI engine, it has a capacity to deliver 170 hp of maximum power at 280 Nm of torque.It is mated to a seven-speed S-tronic dual clutch transmission. The Q3 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 212 km/h. According the Audi, combined fuel consumption claimed is 7.7 litres per 100 km.
There are three modes available such as Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Efficiency modes. The system allows the driver to personalize the performance of the car.
Exterior, Interior & Safety:
The Q3 has a dimension of 4385 mm long, 1831 mm wide and 1608 mm tall. The styling has also had some evolutionary changes to go well with the compact proportions. Distinguished features are the unique lights at the front and rear and the very flat-set back window which provides a sporty look.
The interior has been designed for spaciousness with luxury workmanship from Audi. Entertainment wise, there is Audi’s Concert system that has 10 speakers and 180-watt of music power. You can also add a 14-speaker 465 watts Bose surround system for additional RM5,000. A 6.5-inch TFT color display is available to keep the driver well-versed of various functions. Voice control for the audio system helps driver to adjust the volume faster.
Safety comprises six airbags, ESP, ISOFIX anchorage points for front and rear seats, , parking aid plus with park display.
