Facebook may be among the best global advertising media today, but not many companies take it so seriously that they dedicate a particular product to appreciate their fans. However for Aston Martin, they have decided to honor their Web-savvy supporters by building a car based on their feedbacks.
With a tagline “The DB9 1M, a car designed by you, built by us!”, this bespoke DB9 celebrates the Gaydon-based company’s one millionth Facebook fan by letting them suggest the car’s name, design and trim. The result is black calipers fitted behind 20” diamond-turned alloys, complete with bright blue bodywork and white stripes. Sadly though, not a single picture was released about its Obsidian Black and Spicy Red interior with Piano Black trim.
No changes were made under the hood, meaning that it is still powered by a 6.0litre V12 pumping a hefty 470hpand 600Nm of torque. Harnessing those horses is a 6-speed automatic transmission, enabling the century sprint at 4.8 seconds until a top speed of 300km/h.
