For the new BMW 6-series Gran Coupé, German tuning specialist AC Schnitzer has announced a new tuning program. The new AC Schnitzer F06 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe tuning package features revised styling and a number of engine upgrades.This tuning package is available for both the 640d and 640i.
Engine and specification:
The 640i is equipped with 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six petrol engine; it has a capacity to deliver 360 PS of maximum power instead of the standard 320 PS. In addition, the 640d is equipped with 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine; it has a capacity to deliver 360 PS of maximum power of the standard 313 PS.
A new sports suspension with a lowering spring kit helps to provide dynamic handling in the corners for the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
Exterior, Interior & Safety:
Starting with the exterior, the model has been equipped with a front spoiler, a rear bumper insert and additional chrome trim to complement the sleek and muscular lines of the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
There are a variety of wheel and tyre choices available for the new 6 Series Gran Coupe. The Type IV BiColor, Type IV Silver, and Type VIII BiColor cast wheels are available in 19 or 20 inch depending on type. In addition, the lightweight forged Type VIII BiColor wheels are wrapped in 9.0 x 21 front and 10.0 x 21 rear sizes with 255/30 R21 and 295/25R21 performance tires.
In the interior, buyers also have the choice of restyling the AC Schnitzer F06 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. A special “Black Line” aluminum trim was designed specifically for the i-Drive controller while the aluminum pedals presents a more attractive and aesthetic look. The interior is also completed with a set of new velour floor mats.
In terms of safety, there are eight-piston fixed brake calipers with performance pads for additional stopping power.
