Proton has introduced an a new variant of Proton Inspira. The new Executive Inspira 2.0 CVT replaces the 1.8 CVT Executive in the model lineup. The changes are a significant decrease in the asking price over the Premium variant. The 2.0 CVT Executive is now priced at RM86,900 (metallic) and RM86,450 (solid), on-the-road, with insurance.
Engine and specification:
Equipped with 2.0 litre MIVEC, 4 Cylinder, DOHC 16V engine, it has a capacity to deliver 147 hp of maximum power at 197 Nm of torque. It is mated with a CVT gearbox equipped with paddle shifter. Therefore, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and has a top speed of 198 km/h.
It also features a suspension system with Macpherson strut with Stabiliser Bar in front and Multilink Coil Spring with Stabiliser Bar that improves general handling of the Proton Inspira.
Exterior, Interior & Safety:
Inspira 2.0 CVT Executive is available with four colourful collections such Elegant Brown, Tranquility Black, Genetic Silver and Solid White. Plum Red exterior colour has being replaced by Elegant Brown. The introduction of this new variant as well marks the entrance of Elegance Brown color to the Inspira variant. However, the bodykit has been eliminated compared to the 2.0 Premium version. Great tires can create a fresh look for the vehicle. For that reason, Proton has included a set of 16-inch alloy wheels of the dimension 205/60 for the new variant.
In the interior, the Executive feature fabric for the seat and door trim finishing and comes with 2 integrated rear headrest and receive a space-saver tyre. Other features consist of the radio with cd, mp3 player, bluetooth, steering wheel with audio switch and many more are also included in the car.
In terms of safety Executive version of its 2.0 litre CVT Inspira comes with dual airbags with Pre-tensioner seatbelt, 4 wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic brake distribution (EBD).
