Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division is commemorating its 45th anniversary. The company is celebrating it with another new model introduction that is Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG special-edition cars. Only 45 units of the Mercedes-benz SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition will be produced for customers. The 45 SL65 AMGs will have exclusive paint and interior features found on no other SLs.
Engine and specification:
Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary model is equipped with twin-turbo V-12 engine, it has a capacity to deliver 630 hp of maximum power at electronically limited 1000 Nm of torque. Therefore, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. It is mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission.
Exterior & Interior:
Each anniversary model will be painted with a new silk-matte gray finish known as magno graphite. In addition, the engine cover is finished in carbon fiber and aluminum. The Mercedes-Ben SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition is coming with carbon fiber trim on the spoilers and mirrors. The Anniversary Edition features a new sports exhaust system, which further emphasizes high-performance of the roadster.
Great tires do can wonders for the auto. For that reason, Mercedes-Benz’s AMG has included a set of AMG alloy wheels have a matte titanium finish with a machined lip of the dimension 255/35R 19 inch tires in front and 285/30R 20 inch tires are fitted out back.
In the interior, seats are very nice because it is finished in ginger beige designo leather stitched in a luxurious diamond-stitching pattern. AMG emblems are embossed on the headrests. on the other hand, an AMG logo located on the two-tone steering wheel. Interior trim is finished in matte carbon fiber to complement the exterior of45 SL65 AMG. Another unique feature is the ashtray cover gets a special “45th ANNIVERSARY – 1 OF 45″ badge.
