I was thinking of what car model should I write over my ‘Carlist.my’ blog page. As I run my daily routine in scanning the newspapers and online, I noticed that Jaguar Cars are seldom advertised. When I have a looked at their websites, one of the models that catch my attention was – the Jaguar XF which was recently introduced in 2008 as a replacement for the S-type model of the car manufacturer.

It is a mid-size sports saloon luxury car that has a variation of engines from 2.2, 3.0, 5.0 and even 6.0 Liters. It has Inline, V6 and V8 Cylinder configurations and comes with 6 to 8 speeds Automatic Transmission. Talk about power and speed, this car is definitely an advantage.

One of the fascinating features that Jaguar XF signifies as I read through the article over Wikipedia was the air-conditioning vents that rotate open as the engine is started. In my years of working in the automotive industry, I have not yet seen this classy feature in other makes. One more thing is the ‘Jaguar Driver Selector’, which is simply known as a ‘Rotating Gear Shift Dial’. Again, something different that you could just imagine your gear shirt knob transformed into a rotating dial. Well, I can’t wait to see this if I have the chance.

Jaguar Cars, Ltd is a British Car Manufacturer in which its origin can be traced way back in 1922 as a ‘Swallow Sidecar Company’ and only then later in 1945 was changed to Jaguar Cars Limited. The company, before producing cars was originally manufacturing Sidecars for Motorcycles. Jaguar Cars Limited produces cars for the Prime Minister and as a result, in 11 May 2010 has just recently sold a Jaguar XJ model.

 

Jaguar XF has features that are unique and consumer friendly. Take for instance the Rotating Gear Dial and air-conditioning vents that rotates open as the engine starts. These are just a few of the interesting and different experience you will have when you purchase one of these good looking cars. Jaguar Cars has been in the industry since 1922, this only proves the enormous abundance in experience of the company in producing durable and reliable cars.
