Lexus Malaysia officially launched the better version of the Lexus RX. Lexus RX is a crossover vehicle is the most popular SUV in Large Luxury Sports Utility Vehicle (SUVs) segment in Malaysia.
The RX is available as four variants. The RX 270 is priced at RM 359,800; the RX 350 priced at RM 399,800; the new RX 350 F Sport priced at RM 409,800 and a hybrid variant known as RX 450h is priced at RM 525,000.
Engine and specification:
RX 270 is equipped with 2.7-litre four-cylinder engine; it has a capacity to deliver 188 HP of maximum power at 252 Nm of torque. RX 270 is equipped with Atkinson-Cycle 3.5-litre V6 engine supplemented by two electric motors; it has a capacity to deliver 299 HP of maximum power. RX 350 F Sport and RX 350 is equipped with 3.5L V6 engine, it has a capacity to deliver 274hp of maximum power at 346Nm of torque.
On the exterior, the new improved Lexus RX gets a new front bumper that gives it a sportier look. The lights are now equipped with new LED Daytime Running Lights that adds yet another unique styling factor. Lexus has included a set of new sporty 19-inch alloy-wheel design of the dimension 235/55 for the RX 350 and RX 450h and a set of 18-inch wheels of the dimension 235/60 for the RX 270.
In the interior, it also has been revised. Now, it features a new steering wheel with high quality wood and leather. It also features a second generation Remote Touch Controller for the driver to operate the various systems. Then, the controller is linked to an 8.0 inch Electro Multi Vision screen and is equipped with navigation that serves as a display.
On the other hand The RX 350 F Sport wears an exclusive mesh grille; a larger, more aggressive front bumper, F Sport badges on the front fenders. In the interior, the steering wheel comes with paddle shifters, special perforated leather on the seats, aluminium panels, and a unique mark at the bottom of the middle steering spoke.
