A head-turner, finger-pointing attraction has been brought to town. Cruising along the neighbourhood in the new Honda CR-Z brought a whole new sensation to the driver. With everyone approving the new look and creation of Honda, many are not aware that it is actually a hybrid. According to Honda, the CR-Z is their latest pride and joy, being a sporty hybrid it is assumed to be a hot cake in the automobile market.

Fans of Jaguar vehicles can celebrate further in conjunction with the new year as the latest collection of Jaguar’s XF sedans are now available in Malaysia. In addition to the 3.0 V6 XF sedan, the all-new 3.0 V6 Diesel S has also been made available in addition to the range-topping XFR 5.0 V8 Supercharged car. The last car would be the pick for the power-hungry ones out there, though the diesel vehicle is equally impressive. For now, the first two cars will be made available, while the XFR will only make its debut here later this year.

Tesla might not be a renowned car manufacturer, but it strives to make its mark known in the automobile world by launching the Tesla Model S, an all electric sport sedan. Such production will take place at Tesla Motor that is situated at Silicon Valley. According to Tesla, the new Model S was designed strictly from scratch and did not use any car model as a base of its creation. The new production will make its way to the public eye during second half of 2012, in which three different types of lithium ion battery packs will be offered, starting with 160, 230 and 300 miles.

Aston Martin has always been a private yet mysterious company, all of its production are kept low profile until its launch date. This time it is the same as well, though many footage and discussion had been made, but the actual picture/ evidence that pin point the new creation was not made. The Golf is not a good car to mess with at a traffic light junction! The 240Nm of torque is available from as low as 1750rpm, and this enables the Golf to triumph some normally aspired 2.0litre engine cars in a drag race! The figures proved itself true when the car surged forward as I accelerated the car until around 1700rpm. It gave a brisk acceleration and knot to 100km/h can be achieved in less than 10 seconds! No turbo lag was experienced as Volkswagen solved the problem which is usually found in a force inducted engine by adding a second force induction device.
It is no doubt that once in our lifetime we would like to own a sport car or supercar, and the big time lover will be Porsche’s mouth-watering Boxster. A creation similar to its older brother the impressive 911, the Boxster seems to get better each year with no room for faulty.
