The New Volvo V60 Unleashed in Malaysia
If you are into wagons, no one makes them like how Volvo does. And now you have the ability to choose from either the T4 or the T5, both excellent offerings from Volvo under the all-new V60 model. With Gasoline Turbocharged Direct injection (GTDi) engines under its hood, both the Volvo V60 T4 and T5 offer brilliant petrol engines for your driving benefit. The T4 is the smaller of the two, and it comes with a 1.6-litre engine that generates 180bhp of power and 240Nm of torque (which can be increased to 270Nm under over-boost). Read more
Seems like Every Automakers got Small SUV’s?
What would be the Price Tag for SUV’s of today? I wonder why this vehicle type is popular all over. It seems that every Automaker must have an SUV model nowadays. Even Audi has joined the race in production of small compact Sports Utility Vehicles. The all new Audi Q3 is smaller than a regular size SUV but comes with 2.0 liter engine, front engine layout with on demand four wheel drive and 6 speed transmission. Read more
DRIVEN: Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 TSi !!! (Part 2)
The similar design theme is also applied for the cabin. Minimalist dashboard design in black gave the cabin a gloomy environment. Thankfully, there are few chromes in the cabin to cheer things up. On the bright side, the simple design of the instrument panel and center console are easy to look at and everything is well within reach, sign of good ergonomics. Not to mention the excellent build quality of the cabin.
The powerhouse of the Jetta is the 1.4 TSi which produces 160bhp and 240Nm of torque from as low as 1750rpm. It is the same engine found in the Mk6 Golf, and this engine (brief explanation of the engine can be found in my Golf 1.4 TSi review) is capable of producing fun and be economical at the same time! Volkswagen claimed that the Jetta is the most powerful car in its segment, and I have to agree on this. I remember reading an article about Jetta achieving a range of 350km by using only half a tank of fuel, so I believe the fuel consumption of the Jetta should be quite satisfying as well.
DRIVEN: Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 TSi !!! (Part 1)
Writing a car review is never as hard as calculating the force of a jet water when it hits a inclined plane, for yours truly. However, this case is exceptional. After driving the Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 TSi, I found it tough on describing the places where the Jetta stands out nor its weaknesses. Don’t get me wrong, the Jetta is never a bad choice. It’s a well balanced car in most of the aspects, and I guess you’ll have to continue reading this post to understand what I’m trying to describe here.

Unveiling the 2012 North American Car and Truck of the Year Award Winners
Awards are usually awarded at the end of each year after carmakers release new models and these vehicles are tested and analysed by countless experts and the public. During the recently concluded 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit however, we witnessed the awarding of two 2012 awards, namely the 2012 North American Car of the Year and the 2012 North American Truck of the Year awards. While this would be surprising to auto enthusiasts, but this is something of a tradition here at Detroit where the NAIAS normally takes place.
Plane Hit by Albatross, Ends with Extensive Damage
Believe it or not the above picture is the result of an albatross crashing into a Japanese Coast Guard plane while flying over the South China Sea. Despite the rather alarming damage, none of its nine passengers were hurt and the plane managed land at its scheduled destination one hour after the incident.
Technically known as BASH for Bird-Aircraft Strike Hazard, this happens roughly a few thousand times a year. Fatalities are rarely unless the bird itself is taken into account.

For now, the first two cars will be made available, while the XFR will only make its debut here later this year.
