Kia Ray EV’s Korea First Production EV !

After the debut of Kia Ray’s gasoline version, Kia produced the Ray EV, which is a zero emission vehicle with a range up to 139km on a single charge. Although the Ray EV weighs 187kg more than its gasoline counterpart, it still able to produce adequate performance with a strong electric motor. 50kW and 167Nm of torque is available this time, about 77% increase in torque compared to gasoline version. This will ensure a strong takeoff from idle.

A humble yet successful creation of Mazda Motor Corporation is no other then the Mazda RX8. It made its fashion catwalk during 2001 at the North American International Auto Show and had captured numerous hearts with its beauty. As a successor of RX7, it is powered by Wankel engine. However, the company announced its discontinuation on the 23 of August 2011 and making the 2011 its last production line. Besides, it had modestly retired from the European market last year as it did not meet the local emission standard. With this tragedy and the constant increase in Yen prices, the company had to make a painful decision as to discontinue this model in other markets including North America.

Brookland Motors, the distributor of Citroen vehicles here in Malaysia recently unveiled the stylish Citroen C4 for the benefit of potential buyers. The new C4 proves to be the second generation of this vehicle, and for those that love five-door hatchbacks, the Citroen C4 would definitely appeal to them! The C4 was launched at Brookland Motors’ headquarters as well as 3S centre in Petaling Jaya at the same time the company disclosed plans to bring in the popular DS4 vehicle as well. For the record the DS4 will be made available in Malaysia in February next year, but for now let’s concentrate on the latest generation C4!
