Among the 9000+ entries submitted during the Test Drive Kia on Tour 2011 Roadshow held in four locations in Peninsular Malaysia, Mohd Ismail Ibrahim, the lucky test driver from Kuala Lumpur emerged as the winner of the Grand Prize of a Forte 1.6EX. The entries were submitted by visitors who made booking or test drove a Kia during the test drive roadshow. The Grand Prize of a Forte 1.6EX was presented to him on 20th October.
The Test Drive Kia on Tour 2011 Roadshow was conducted since May, and during the most recent one which was held in The Curve in Petaling Jaya, Selangor on the previous week, there were 3,144 test drives requested by customers and 600 bookings being taken. Naza Kia Malaysia reported that the Forte 1.6EX was the most demanded choice of test drive models during the roadshow.
According to said Datuk Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, COO of Naza Kia Malaysia, “Test Drive Kia on Tour 2011 was a chance for us to get closer to our customers and to give new customers a hands-on opportunity to view and test drive our prestigious range of award-winning models. The warm response from customers shown by the number of test drives held at all four venues indicated that these models are becoming a hit and are gaining popularity within the customers. We would like to take Test Drive Kia on Tour roadshow to more locations in the country in the following year.”
Datuk Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar also mentioned that the company is intending to have 6 legs for the Test Drive Kia on Tour 2012, where the destinations will include some on the East Coast and also East Malaysia.
Other than the Grand Prize of a Forte 1.6 EX, visitors who participated in the test drives or joined as a Kia Malaysia fan on Facebok were also given mystery gifts at the four venues. A total of 4,896 new Facebook fans were being added during the period.
