Celebrities, the rich and famous, often indulge on big and expensive gifts to themselves or their loved ones. A luxury or sports car is a common favourite, I’m sure many of us wished we have a loving (and sexy) partner just like Beyonce who presented her hubby Jay-Z with a Bugatti Veyron for his birthday. Here are some of the most impressive cars that a celebrity owns:

  • Jay Leno

Jay Leno had been a legend ever since he host The Tonight Show and it is also known that he has a collection of cars so huge that his garage has numerous high end equipment such as a waterjet cuter and sheet metal machines. Jay’s car collections consist of famous brand such as McLarens, Duesenbergs and many more. With more then 100 vehicles standing in his property, Jay Leno had a philosophy behind his collection; he drives and uses all of his vehicles because he dislikes looking at his Ferraris and Lamborghinis sitting in the garage collecting dust. Therefore, he makes an effort to take them for a ride once in a while. The location of his garage is located at California; here you can find the rarest and most unique car that was ever made. With a net worth of around $150 million, it is not a surprise that he has the ability to drown himself with luxury cars.

Awaiting the All New Toyota Alphard Hybrid

October 29, 2011 by vignes · Leave a Comment

Back in 2003 when the very first Toyota Alphard was brought into existence, very few knew that there was also a hybrid version of the very same vehicle that was unveiled at the same time. Unfortunately, the production of the hybrid variant of the Alphard was brought to a halt in 2008 due to poor response to the vehicle. Critics attributed this scenario due to the lack of power in the hybrid vehicle of the Alphard, a vehicle that is most definitely huge in terms of size (anyone who has seen an Alphard would attest to this).

Apparently Toyota Motors has now decided to resurrect the Alphard, and this must appear as good news for fans of hybrid vehicles out there. But from what we hear, the new hybrid would only be available in Japan for now where Toyota is set to evaluate the appeal of the new hybrid Alphard before probably exporting the vehicle elsewhere. The brand new hybrid variant of the Alphard would come with a 2AZ-FXE 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that would be able to generate up to 150PS of power.
