Saab Going Down the Drain Fast
This week, Saab, the well-known Swedish car company which is most famous for its over-the-top, unique, and quirky designs when it comes to their cars, have gone down the drain sooner than they’re supposed to. It was reported that Saab is nearing bankruptcy last Thursday, and the currently suffering car company admitted that they no longer have any money to pay the employees’ wages. Saab announced that the whole situation is extremely dire that it won’t be able to pay its 3,700 employees, after all those months of problems with paying suppliers as well as production stoppages.
Best Used D-Segment Cars
Used car is gaining its market in the automotive industry. D-segment (Large family car) cars is a segment higher than C-Segment (Compact family car) like Toyota Altis and Honda Civic, and owning a D-segment car always benefit from its sheer interior size, luxury and superb comfort. That why I think it’s worth to buy a D-segment used car because most brand new D-segment depreciate fast, and if you need space and travel in comfort at the same time.

Ford Still Hanging on to MyFord Touch
It was reported last week that Ford was brutally bashed by both auto critics and auto consumers alike about how terrible and low-quality the MyFord Touch can be. Though there may have been a lot of issues when it comes to MyFord Touch’s functionality and features, Ford remains intact and deeply committed to the multimedia interface by claiming that about 85% of auto consumers who own vehicles with MyFord Touch find it quite easy to operate. Moreover, Ford also claims in a defensive statement that 80% of users would gladly recommend the system to someone considering the car.

2000/05 Civic – Review
Years ago there was a time when combining a standard Civic and equipping it with a VTEC engine was a gods’ send for most boy racers. Never mind if it had 4 doors or an auto, owning one especially in white or bright yellow qualified the owners loads of bragging rights. Then in the turn of the millennium, Honda introduced the ES Civic, a very restrained and mature descendant from a long line of racy ancestors. While earlier Honda fans sighed, it cemented the company’s effort in stamping their mark in a segment dominated by Sentra and Corolla.
Volkswagen Presents Driverless Technology
A new convenience feature has been debuted by Volkswagen which would allow its vehicles to drive on their own at speeds of over 80 mph. The system is known as Temporary Auto Pilot (TAP) and it will allow the car to drive in an autonomous mode on city traffic as well as on highways. The entire system functions by using multiple ultrasonic and radar-based sensors, an electronic horizon, video cameras, and laser scanners in order to allow the car to react to any road condition on its own and also for the car to survey the road condition.
Does your Vehicle Needs New Shock Absorbers?
It’s no mystery that you’ll need new shock absorbers as soon as possible once your original shocks or struts are leaking, damaged, or worn out. However, it’s actually rather hard to tell when you really need to replace your old shocks, and the only way to evaluate your need for new shocks or struts is to consider how your vehicle has been riding and handling lately.
BMW M3 Pickup

While it felt like a waste converting the BMW M3 into a truck, but it shows that BMW are evaluating their other range of customer.

Suzuki Swift – Driven
Our automotive market like most other Asian countries, favor sedans than hatchbacks. However in some particular conditions, there are a couple of these two-box cars that shine even above their conventional versions simply because of style, living conditions, and sometimes even practicality they possess.
When Suzuki Malaysia first launched their CKD version of the Swift, many lauded at its chic design. In a glance, it’s easy to understand why. Unlike the Jazz or Yaris which looked a tad bubbly, the Swift has short front overhangs and wheelbase, thick C-pillars and a simple rear rump, in fact very similar to the much dearer Mini. Add in blacked A and B-pillars, narrow windows plus minimal wheel clearance under the slightly flared wheel arches, the compact really does look hunkered down and sporty in standard form.

It looks like Mercedes is bringing their upcoming 2012 S-Class for some testing on the ice. But from video, it seems that the car is sliding as the tires seem to be stop the driver is doing its turn. At the bottom video, you could see that the tires could not obtain grip, but that snow condition is pretty bad, and does not look like they are using chain at all.
