The Most Suitable Cars for Women
Unlike men, women tend to be more laidback when it comes to anything auto since it is not really their main interest and expertise (with a few exceptions), so this means that women are usually looking for a car that functions conveniently and fuss-free with great features like reasonable prices, low running costs, and plenty of storage spaces. Among the top 4 most suitable cars for women include the following:
1. Toyota Camry
The car is really successful and is the bestselling car in the US due to its general features such as roomy, built like the proverbial brick outhouse, and is comfortable. The Toyota Camry’s price range may vary from $18,270 and all the way to $27,520. An owner of the car once reported about how comfy and spacious the driver’s seat is and that she’s really satisfied with her purchase.
With its prestigious outlook, the classy car is ideally sized and is big, perfect, and spacious enough for the whole family to fit into, especially when a woman is running her personal errands. Basically, the E-Class is really practical both for the working or the non-working woman with kids on tow. Also, the car is in perfect size that it’s easy enough to park and handle.
3. Honda Civic
You could see the Honda Civic on the road in our country at any given time since the car is really popular among Malaysian drivers because of its economical factor and is easy to drive, plus, they run pretty swiftly and smoothly as well. The car is a really good investment both for long and short term.
4. Honda Jazz
The jazzy Jazz is quite handy especially in urban areas to nip through the congested traffic and squeeze into small parking spots with its small size. The subcompact car is pretty fuel-efficient with its 1.5 litre engine, and it also has a really beautiful and nicely done interior with the innovative and unique-looking stereo controls. The car is much smaller and less expensive.
p/s You thought I was going to name the smaller cars like Kelisa, Kenari and Kancil right? :D

In the adventurous world of automotive, creative experimentation is a must in order to achieve a new level of technology and auto advancement. The idea of creating a concept car started way back in the late 1930s, and the person responsible for starting the whole thing was Harley Earl, the legendary General Motor’s designer who created the Buick Y-Job, a car with gorgeous fenders which was ahead of its time during that period. Ever since that first creation of concept car by Earl, the others follow suit. Although some of the concept cars featured are sometimes too good to be true and were never produced, the cars are not a failure either. Among the top 4 funny-looking and modern concept cars include the following:
1. Peugeot Moovie
The simple looking car was designed by Portuguese designer Andre Costa, who won the 2005 Peugeot Concours Design competition. The non-functioning concept is a big and bubbly transparent cabin without any steerable wheels or discernable drivetrain. With the car estimated for the year 2020, it was said to provide zero protection for the occupants inside.
2. Honda Puyo
The cute robotic-looking car is built with soft materials to protect pedestrians and is powered by fuel cells. The car is intended to demonstrate a dedication to environmental responsibility and to safety. Some auto critics were being really mean by accusing the car as being ludicrous and that its balloonish body is the main trigger of angry mobs on the road.
3. General Motors EN-V
The basic idea of the EN-V is to allow for a combination of human-controlled and autonomous driving via GPS and vehicle-to-vehicle communication. So far, the car is claimed to be one of the most horrible concept cars ever.
4. Toyota Hi-CT
If you think that the car looks ugly at first sight, nobody blames you. The boxy car has an interior which was shaped just enough to make it appear ‘stupid’. It’s odd, but true. With a removable trunk on the back, the car is left with little storage capacity.
Basic Car Accessories 101
Don’t worry if you know nothing about car accessories, as this basic guide will tell you what you need to know about car accessories. Perhaps the next time you need to upgrade or repair your vehicle, you’ll know what is what and along with its functions as well. If you are thinking of customizing your vehicle, you could also include other car accessories such as custom car interiors and lighting and LED wheel-well lights.
1. LED Taillight
The LED taillight is one of the most popular car accessories. The LEDs come with many varying and wide range of styles, from Euro to Asian-inspired options. The LEDs are great because they are able to provide a long-lived lighting solution and are able to last many times longer than the conventional incandescent bulbs, which in turn save you money in the end. The LED taillights also offer brighter illumination in order to make you appear more visible on the road especially during your journey at night. Since the LEDs are available in many options, you may either opt for clear, smoked, red, or other lens finishes to enhance your vehicle’s style.
2. HID Headlights
The HID headlights are multi-function. It works both by operating with a much brighter light that helps you see better and clearer during the dark night, and also provides you with a great look for your vehicle. You are able to transform your dull-looking vehicle and customize it into something more eye-popping with a fast installation procedure by using the HID conversion kits. The HID headlights are also easily available and accessible at many major auto distributors which in turn give you the option of making your vehicle appear unique.
3. Carbon Fibre
A lot of modern and supercars today are using the carbon fibre material to appear more dramatic. Carbon fibre trunk lids and hoods are the most sought-after car accessories to be added since carbon fibre material are much lighter, sturdier, stronger, and more durable than their fibreglass and metal counterparts. Get the authentic carbon fibre, not just paint your car hood black :D

The Sexiest Hybrids
In this time and age, hybrid cars are all the rage, though they may not always come across as cheap and affordable. Now that people are more aware and conscious about the environment, embracing the concept of hybrid cars is very commendable. Back then, hybrid cars tend to be more practical both in performance and design, but with the changing of times and modernized technologies, hybrid cars now are more advanced, smarter, and futuristic. These new age hybrid cars are also easier on Mother Earth, sporty, and fun to drive. Among the nouveau hybrid cars worth mentioning include the following: Read more
Do You Know the Types of Car Auctions?
Car auctions can be fun if you know the ropes, whether by browsing through the online car auctions or attending the real live car auctions. If you’re looking to purchase a car for your personal use or buy several cars and resell them again for a profit, car auctions may just be the best way for you to do it. It’s really recommended that you understand the different types of car auctions available and what each of them offers before you rush off to any car auctions:
1. Wholesale Auto Auctions
The wholesale auto auctions are slightly different than the public auctions since the events are typically reserved specifically for those who hold a dealer’s license. At this car auction, you’ll be able to find rental cars for auction. Apart from that, you’ll also find dealer-to-dealer auction sessions which are done to move overstock. Don’t even bother trying to show up at the wholesale auto auctions if you don’t own a dealer’s license as you won’t be permitted to enter the event under any circumstances.
2. Police and Government Car Auctions
This type of car auction is offering seized vehicles (either seized during a criminal activity or for some other inexplicable reason). Additionally, you could also buy government vehicles that are no longer in use. You will be allowed to take a look at the vehicle prior to your bidding session although there isn’t any guarantee that the seized vehicles will be in tip-top conditions.
3. Online Car Auctions
Buyers from around the world are able to bid on cars with the online car auctions system. The bidding sessions usually take place in an online forum or auction websites like Yahoo Auctions or EBay Motors. You are bound by a legal contract to purchase the vehicle for the price you offered if you win the auction.
4. Public Auto Auctions
Phone bidding is allowed during this public session which is also often takes place at a physical location. Most public auctions are broadcast live and are open to anyone with no restrictions.
CDs May Soon Be A Thing of the Past for Car Audio Systems
Car audio systems have undergone quite a few changes from the initial systems that used to have only radio receivers. After that came the cassette players that were around for more than three decades if I am not mistaken (I reckon most of us that were born before the 1990s would be familiar with the audio cassettes). And every era had to come to an end, and with the introduction of compact discs (CDs) in the 1990s, cassettes slowly went out of fashion. And guess what, now is the turn of the CDs to go out of fashion, and with the emergence of Apple’s many audio devices such as the iPod and the iPhone, we are looking at a future minus these CD players in our car audio systems!
In Malaysia, current car manufacturers still offer CD players in their vehicles’ audio systems, though this might change within the next decade or so. In the United States for instance, quite a number of car makers have already omitted CD slots from the car audio systems, instead iPhone/iPod connectivity slots as well as AUX/ USB slots are offered. Malaysian cars still come with both options in the system, though I am not sure for how long more this would last as more and more people demand iPod/iPhone connectivity in their cars.
The change is driven by the younger generation, those who are more used and comfortable with shared/ downloaded music, and these files are stored/ played primarily through audio devices such as the iPod. CDs are not being purchased in large numbers anymore, and even if they are, only the older generation seems to prefer CDs over shared/ downloaded music. And this is about to change as well within the next decade or so, as what is currently being witnessed in the United States.
For Malaysia, I would assume that CDs will go out of fashion within the next five years (minimum) up to ten years (maximum). If you are yet to embrace this change, I suggest you get familiar to life without CDs as that would be how life would look in the future!
