When do you think the first hybrid car was invented? It is actually 1900, not by Toyota or Honda but it is by the founder of Porsche, Ferdinand Porsche.

After 111 years, Porsche have reconstructed the car and will stand proud at Porsche exhibition stand together with Porsche’s 2012 Panamera S Hybrid. We doubt that the 1900 Semper Vivus would get as much milleage as today Prius, but having the hybrid thoughts a century ago simply makes Porsche a superb car manufacturer.

Expect to see the all new Volvo S60 cars gracing our roads pretty soon, as Volvo Malaysia has confirmed March 2011 as the launch date for these vehicles in our country. The CBU Volvo S60 will be unveiled first, before Volvo proceeds to locally assembled the S60 in Malaysia before marketing the locally-assembled model. We are all-set to receive two different versions of the S60, the T5 as well as the T6 cars. The locally assembled S60 vehicle is expected to be named the T3 or the T4 if rumors are to be believed. And Volvo Malaysia also disclosed the fact that the local assembly of these vehicles will take place only in Q3 of 2011, and they will carry significantly smaller engines compared to the CBU models.
