New Car Listings on Carlist.my

Carlist.my users rejoice! You can now post new car listings on Carlist.my!

Previously new car sellers have to post their listings under used cars but now there is a dedicated category for new cars. This isn’t a full fledged new car section yet but it will be more convenient now for buyers and sellers to find and sell new cars.

So how do you post new cars on Carlist.my?

How to Post a New Car Listing

Login and click the “Sell a Car” button.

1) Select “New Car”.
2) Fill in the your Ad Title.
3) Select a Make.
4) Select a Model.
5) Select a Variant.
6) Year is default to the current year and cannot be changed.
7) Once you selected a Variant, the OTR Price is automatically generated based on the official price released by the manufacturers. Variants cannot be selected if you selected a used car model. Do contact us if you notice missing variants or outdated prices.
8) Fill in the Cash Discount you want to give!
9) The Selling Price will be automatically generated by deducting the official OTR Price with your Cash Discount.
10) Mileage will be not available as it is a new car.
11 Upload a few nice Photos of the car.
12) Fill in your Description ( Details about the specs, free gifts & etc).
13) Click Submit.
14) You’re done! Just wait for a couple of hours and your listings will appear on our site.

How to Search for New Car Listings

To search for new cars, you can do so by ticking the New Car checkbox in the Main Page Searchbox or selecting the New Car drop-down option in Advanced Search.

You can also click the New Cars Tab in normal search results.

The Discounted Price is the Selling Price after deducting the official OTR Price with the seller’s Cash Discount. The Cash Discount is displayed as how much You Saved.
