Now I know most of the articles earlier from this series are all about the ‘Autobots’. But wait, the ‘Decepticons’ also has a robot that transforms into a car. And that’s – ‘Barricade’. This character in the movie becomes a – ‘Saleen S281E Police Car’, an American car which manufactures high performance automotive parts and sports car founded by ‘Steve Saleen’ in 1983. The company sells accessories and car parts and operated a retail store to market their products directly to the consumers.

Saleen S281E which is also referred to as ‘Saleen Mustang’ is a modification of famous American car ‘Ford Mustang’ and as variation continues in time, S281E developed its unique and original design and has left the Mustang’s appearance, distinctively.

S281E series that was produced from 1996 to 2009 with an assembly plant in Troy, Michigan comes with body styles 2-door coupe’ and 2-door convertible and finally with engines 4.6L V8, 335 hp to 550 hp.
