Volvo XC60: A quick look

Volvo has again impressed us with one of its outstanding cars. This time, it is the Volvo XC60, the second SUV in the Volvo family. Car dimensions include a width of 5.4 ft, a height of 5.6 ft and a length of 15.2 ft from the bonnet to its trunk. The car is available in 13 different exterior colours ranging from jet black to ice white.

Safety features include a rear fog light, adaptive cruise control and distance alert, collision warning with auto brakes, roll stability control and the ever important ABS or anti-lock braking system. The car’s structure has been strategically designed to absorb impact and minimize injuries if a collision was to occur. Features such as a reinforced passenger compartment, an energy absorbing frontal structure and a whiplash protection system all shows its high safety standards.

As for its interior, dual safety airbags coupled with seatbelts with pre-tensioners and a collapsible steering column all show that a casualty in this car in an event of an accident is very unlikely to occur.

Overall, the car is packed with safety features and has some serious muscle power for both on road and off road. Truly another outstanding product from an outstanding car manufacturer.
