Kicherer Pumps Up the SLS AMG
If you think the AMG version of the the ‘stock’ standard SLS is already a god’s send, feast your eyes on what Kickerer did to it. In the AMG form, it already has a 6.2cc thunderous V8 delivering 563hp and 650Nm of torque to tug the 1.6 tonnes chassis.
Before I go any further, this edition has no relation whatsoever to the AMG’s flagship Black Series stable. By fiddling with the ECU and fitting a stainless steel sport exhaust system, the boys from Kicherer raised the power bar to 620hp, which is equivalent to 100hp per litre. Other upgrades include a cool exterior wrapped matte foil, a revised diffuser, a front spoiler lip, matte black exterior inserts, a Kicherer badge and 20-inch RS-1 wheels. The black beast sits on adjustable sports suspension. Read more
Women, BEWARE!!
The reason of the post is to educate women about the important of being safe on the road. Many women who are car owners may not realize that over doing it with their car makes them an easy prey. Road bullies or predators may easily identify that the owner of the car is a woman by these criteria
- Car colors are bright such as pink or light blue.
- Flowery arrangement 0n the dashboard or all around the car.
- Teddy bears (especially collection), pillows, car sticker that indicates a woman is driving this car.
- Do not hang clothing that indicate the gender of the car owner.
All those thing can be done in order to personalize our car but overdoing it may makes you an easy target. How to identify a threatening situation and how react in that situation is also important. Read more

The Proton Satria Neo
Malaysian manufactured cars have always been under heavy criticism by locals and foreign users alike for quite awhile now. From the criticism of the Perodua MyVi in the BBC’s automotive show Top Gear to the poor air conditioning system within the cars, Malaysian manufactured cars are usually treated with ridicule when compared to foreign brand cars. however, I for one strongly believe that Malaysian manufactured cars are something that we Malaysians should be proud of as part of our country’s great achievements. With that said, for the next few weeks, I will review several of Malaysia’s top selling models, beginning with the Proton Satria Neo.
Europe’s Concept Cars on Blog Series: This week’s feature – Saab Aero X……
Have you ever seen a 2 door car in which the way of accessing the interior is by opening the windscreen, the roof, and the doors all at the same time?
Introducing ‘Saab Aero X’, concept car from a Swedish Car Manufacturer. It was introduced at the ‘Salon International de l’Auto’ in 2006.
The conventional doors and ‘gull wing door’ were outdated and not used by Saab Aero X because the doors and windscreen are inter connected. The complete top section of the vehicle can be opened by using a ‘cockpit canopy’ in which entering and exiting the vehicle can be facilitated. The windscreen and door windows do not have an ‘A-pillar’ that blocks the view of the driver thereby offering a 180 degree vision in which for my point of view would be an important benefit. BMW 135i Coupe
I have always had a penchant for smaller cars. To me, they are usually simpler than their bigger brethen and bring back the simple pleasures of driving. When BMW first introduced the 1 Series in hatchback form, i was not really taken by the then controversial Bangle inspired design, but the FR layout and classic BMW 50:50 weight distribution certainly did impress me for a car of such size, but when BMW introduced the coupe version of the 1 series, i instantly fell in love. It reminded me of the old e30 3 series and according to BMW was inspired by the legendary BMW 2002 model. Read more

other odd thing is that they were driving against each other..

I thought Nurburgring was a one way track, didn’t know that cars can come on the opposite direction…..

Hyundai’s i30 1.6 Hatch
Filed under: Cool Cars, Helpful Tips, Interesting Stuff, Reviews
Launched last year, the i30 was the second offering from Hyundai to wear their new ‘i’ badge here after the 1.1cc i10. Unlike older predecessors, the chassis and finishing was penned to be more ‘European’, thus it was very well accepted in that continent.
C-Category Hatchback
With a length of 4245mm and 1775 in width, it’s shy of the Peugeot 308’s 4276mm length and width of 1815mm. However, the wheelbase is longer by 42mm at 2650mm. The front end is plainly finished with similar cues of the cuter i10 sibling. From the 3-quarter rear view however, one might mistaken it with the smallest range from a Bavarian car manufacturer, if not the taller rear lamps and curved-up C-pillar.
